I have recommended Zenith gymnastics to many of our homeschool friends but after the response from the owner when my children were hit and spit on during homeschool gymnastics this morning; I can no longer do that. Today during the class a little boy pushed my son and he ran upstairs to tell me. When the teachers refused to make the child sit down or face any consequences I walked out and spoke to the owner who was also on the mat. He told me boys would be boys and that he´d keep an eye on the child. I told him that I teach my children to keep their hands to themselves. He laughed it off and said he´d seperate them next time. As the regular session was ending, my daughter told me that the same boy had just spit on her. I asked the owner what his policy is for a child hitting and spitting on other kids. He told me to calm down as this other child was able to continue playing. I told him that a child wouldn´t be allowed to spit on a kid in any other setting without consequence and he said I told him not to hit earlier after he pushed your son. But afterwards he still proceeded to spit on my other child 🤦🏾‍♀️. I have never seen a situation where a child could hit and spit on children without being removed from the situation. The owner seemed more upset that I questioned his policies than he was that this happened to my kids. I didn´t yell, my kids didn´t retaliate and I was the one who was treated like the issue.
Edited to add*The owner has now responded that my child was tripped when every child pointed at the child in question when asked who pushed him. He also has failed to address the fact that my other kid was spit on. He also did not mention anything until I asked at the end after finding out my other child had been spit on. He refused to ask anything or look into it before we left.

I love this place Zenith gymnastics is the best if your looking for a place to do gymnastics I recommend on Tuesday it is my daughters first class their and when we checked the inside it was wonderful if you bring your whole family your dad can go in the play area with your baby/toddler sibling while your moms watching you I love it and so does my daughter my daughter now is going to learn a back walkover the kids play area was so clean and perfect 🤩 🩷
